As a real person with REAL skin, I struggled with severe acne for 5 years and documented my journey for the world to normalise normal skin. Skin with texture, scars, blemishes & pigmentation that tells a story. Our face is our first introduction to a room and I was known as the girl with acne because my acne is the first thing people saw when they saw me. This made me very self conscious but instead of tearing my confidence to pieces, it did the very opposite because people from all around the world found a relatability in my story and found healing in my transparency.
